Turn signal won't stick down or automatic cancel

So it use to do all these things until now.
Is it just the automatic cancelling cam or something just knocked out of place in there?
I have a 2 hour time frame to tear it all down and put it back together tomorrow.
This really aggravates me, figuring that I just ordered from Mazdatrix a week ago and of course I'll probably have to order from there again.

It sounds like the small white plastic pin that goes into the steering wheel may have snapped or come out of place.

Do you have an aftermarket wheel?

Or have you re-installed your wheel recently?

Everything is original.
I've been searching for answers and info before I tear it all down tomorrow.
Here are pictures and the automatic canceling cam from Mazdatrix.

Yea if the wheel has never been taken off it can be extremely hard, I bashed myself in the face the first time. the part i was referring to was the white plastic ring in the last picture you posted. Make sure the dimples are not broken.

Haha. I'll be looking forward to seeing one of thee 2 dimples broken since the right turn sticks up and the left turn does not stick down.

Could be the little ***** on the cancel ring, or it could be the bridge: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generati...witch-1074412/

FWIW, I got my wheel off pretty easily by repeatedly rocking it back and forth instead of using a puller. Watch your nose.

Leave the nut threaded on just a little bit. Wiggle the wheel and give it a good yank towards you.

If you need one of the white plastic pieces let me know. I have a few.

It was the automatic cancel cam, ordering one from Mazdatrix now. As you can see the 2 prongs were both found broken off and scattered in the housing of the plastic surrounding.
