Pineapple Racing bad?

Ordered from them 3 weeks ago and was wondering where my package was after 2 weeks so I emailed them and they said they "dropped the ball on my order" lol so I waited 3 days after that for them to do anything and emailed them back and they still haven't responded or done anything yet.
Similar experiences?

Just a belt so my drive belt doesn't slip on my water pump pulley from the air pump belt not being there. And when you pay for certain shipping you expect it to be what you paid for. Also if I wouldn't have contacted them it would've went unnoticed lol

You ordered that yoohoo belt thing after we showed you the 50$ Dual sheave pulley that came with matching belts from Banzai racing?

Good luck this summer when the fan is on, haha.

I'm trying to cancel my order from them because waiting a month for a part I paid priority mail for is just unnecessary by any circumstances. But I am going to have to look into buying the pulley kit you mentioned. Is it a easy install?

Air impact and a 22mm socket = success.

I heard rumors Rob at Pineapple isn't working there anymnore. Any truth to that? Could be the reason they dropped the ball on your order.

The yoohoo belt is a cheap fix anyways. I love my dual sheave. And my experience is that the "yoohoo" is just a lawnmower belt. Looks kinda redneck. Mine did anyways.

Also, mine still slipped when my fan was on despite being torqued correctly in the super brutal summers in northeastern PA (joke).

Rob built my 12A

Like, 10 years ago or something. And I beat this thing daily and have all this time. I hope hes still there, would be a shame if he was gone.

I just ordered a yoohoo belt and some freeze plugs from pineapple this week. I hope I don't have the same experience as you did!

Last time I ordered a yoohoo belt from them, the first one shredded up immediately. They quickly sent me another one which has been working great for many years. The service was great!

Gonna fill the ACV port with quicksteel too? You should any time freeze plugs go in the coolant ports. Otherwise you get a hotter manifold due to exhaust pulses. This is especially true on a stock manifold -- less so on aftermarket that just blocks it off with a flat section of the flange.

You know I did do that on my '82. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea or not. I guess I'll do it on the '84 as well.....
