Turbocharging a 12A

Has anyone had any experiences/comments or whatever on turbocharging a 12A engine (1984) I can get all the piping bent or whatever so convention "turbocharger kits" aren't nesescary, just wondering if anyone had any thoughts/ideas

cheers'

Nope, only the 13B's. Don't think they'd fit in the 84' GSL chasis.

Why not? It's not too much bigger than a GSL-SE 13B, and a GSL-SE shares the same chassis as your GSL.

Do a search, there are TONS of posts about puting a 13BT into an FB

BT = 13B(T)urbo - usually designated for 86-91
Turbocharged engines

SA = First generation RX-7 (79, & 80), also Series 1

FB = Revised First Generation (81-85)
Series 2 = 81-83
Series 3 = 84-85

FC = 2nd Generation RX-7 (86-91) - Series 4

FD = 3rd Generation RX-7 (93 and later) No 92's
Series 5

If you check your VIN, Mazda the first digits determine the generation on the 7. (FB,FC,FD)

The series or Savannah RX-7's are known those names in other countries outside North America.

i love the body and they way it looks, and i'm holding out for the rx-8 until it's released, just wondering on engines

for fun, what type of rotary engine, would NOT fit in the 84 GSL chassis?

Almost anything will fit anywhere **** I have seen on the internet 20b's in mazda trucks, early SA's, all kinds of places. But money is the operative word here...

**** there is a guy here running a 350 chevy motor with a super charger in a lil MGB convertible! Man the backend is so tubbed the 2 tires look like they almost rub
