I like picks to go with explinations, works better with my simple red-neck brain. another adition to this how much boost can i push through the carbs safely. i believe the carbs are duel webersnot sure of the flow rates havent brought the motor home yet.

this site shows how to do the 3rd gens....the cosmos are smaller but might work for them to....on my 13b TT I did the conversion and it works great with a free flow exaust

2001 higher flowing models.
today was the first time i could really look at the turbo. I found some small cracks in the inner part of the exhaust inlet they seem to be more like surface cracks is this a major problem the rest of the casting seem strong.

The twins are nice & responsive, but they run out of breath and are inefficient at higher boost levels/high RPM.
What kind of power could i expect from them with a StreetPort and decent exhuast system no cats and such. Well one of you guys said about ovaling the holes to use it on my 12a i may do that, and just get a big single for the other car with the 13b.
Thats funny....there is a 3rd gen with factory twins (new)......puting out 550hp.....must be magic......when I rode with him it shure as hell felt like it......(550 is on race gas)

A third gen with 350-400 hp Feels ridiculously fast too.
BTW, Since the (twins) Turbos are so small, the boost hits instantly, and "feels" faster than a large single Turbo.

Sorry. But I don't believe it. Show me flat ten second timeslips at over 130 mph, and I'll believe it.
