Question Need Info-Motor Swap!!!

I have a 1979 Mazda rx7 with the stock 12a motor with 5speed transmission. I was wondering if i can put in a stock 13b turbo with top mount intercooler, easly with out any major adjustments? I am looking for any informantion that may help with his motorswap or any ideas for a good motor swap to do that will still give me ok horse power (200+) with at least 17 miles to the gallon city. Any ideas?

to reach the 200hp mark you are going to have to put in an s5 TII and with the turbo you will be lucky to get 17 mpg.https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=255020 This should give you an idea on what you are getting yourself into. The best of luck!

im not sure, but i think you need a 13b -se front cover for the motor mount points. the trans mount will need some work too i believe (if you use a TII trans)

Ok guys. I have had enough of these TII swap questions as I am sure that most of the members that have been here are also. :-)

There is the thread link provided by Remo and you can find a lot more of them in the Archives and regular section by using the terms- TII, Turbo, Turbo swap, etc...
