Turbo II swap in 1st gen.

Ok i am planning on swapping a Turbo II engine into my first gen. there are a few questions that i would like to ask. First off, would i need to do any modifications to my car or would it be a clean swap? second, I am finding engines and trannys but these engine come with a cut wiring harness. Where can I find a wiring harness that is not cut? These questions may seem dumb but this car would be my first turbo and rotary car, and i want to do it right without cutting any corners.

Now i have heard of Haltech and Microtech standalone systems. Does these systems replace a stock ecu and wiring harness or would i need to still use the ecu and harness they give me with the engine? if anyone would be willing to help a brotha out, please holla back at me....any information would be benificial. thanks
