drill and tap for a 1/2 pipe or a 3/4 pipe thread hole...
if your going to use -an lines -10 to a 1/2 pipe thread adapter would work great with -10 stainless braided hose...

after my horrible expierence at last years sevenstock(all the chaotic un organized mayham) i decided to work and make money instead of going this year... i would like to go again tho if they get thier act together

I have to do the same thing but will do it to a 12a front cover so not to butcher a se cover as I need to have the shop turn my 12 cover into a 12aS5Turbo cover.
E-mail me those pics too please

I used a 1/2 NPT tap and a 23/32 drill bit (45/64 is the required drill bit size for the tap)

Im sure it can be done with a regular hand drill, no need for a machine shop, just buy the tap and bit it will be cheaper.
