CHANGE OF PLAN

i just started reading about Atkins Rotartys superchargers. Now i can see i could install this baby in about 4-5 hours. What kinda HP gain would i get VS say a 5-8 pound boost turbo?

the atkins kit looks pretty nice...it's just the fact that it costs more than my car (including mods)

Most would argue that the cost on the atkins supercharger is not worth the performance....

As far as a turbo goes, its been done, but requires descent fab skills. Intake and Exhaust manifolds are where the creativity has to be directed.

yeah i was wondering how nice of a one wheel peal it would lay down.. if you look hard enough or have enough cash you can get the turbo...i like superchargers myself...they eather work or they dont...witch i think would be better for you engine..a turbo having boosting problems can kill an engine quick..just my 2 cents

Not Really, you could use the 13BT exhaust manifold on a 12A.

definatly if your on a budget blow through turbo is the way to go!!!! superchargers take power to make power (driven by the motor), turbos just make power (uses spent exhaust to make boost), thats the bottom line!
