Inovate LM-1

Ok, I got my wideband kit (Inovate LM-1) and my DB gauge in the other day. Have any of you put this on the RB road race exhaust? Being dual pipes all the way back, does it matter which I install the 02 bung on? Did you guys make the copper heat shield they suggest for hotter exhaust temps? Since the sensor is best mounted at or near 12 o'clock position, tail end of the header seems the most likely mounting position, is this where you'd place it?

if you buy that system from RB with an o2 sensor bung they put it in the front of the center section, i think on the left side. tail end of the header is fine too

ive never had to use the copper shield thing.

The RB RR exhaust I have has 2 bungs place at the very end of the dual
pipe section right before it joins up with the dual to single pipe section that
goes over the axle to the RB muffler. Someoe before me added them so I
just plugged them for now Someday I'll save up and get a dual
guage to use with it.

Anyway, back to my point, you might consider moving it down to the mid or
tail end section so that heat isn't an issue. The mixture will be the same
no matter where it measured at and you won't risk frying a valuable piece
of equipment. Just a thought.
