I'm sure that this has been brought up before but I didn't see anything in the search nor the faq page.

Is there anything special I need to do to do my own tune up on a RX-7? I know that the Hanynes manual most of the time has a tune up section, does anyone have that? Any help would be awesome I don't really want to have to pay someone to do it.

 

Pretty much your standard car tune up stuff. Plugs, wires, cap & rotor, fuel filter, air filter, oil change, inspect brakes, flush radiator, change brake and clutch fluid (you will notice a difference trust me), also maybe clean up the carb some if equipped and make sure all the linkages are working right and not binding on anything. That pretty much sums it up I think.

EDIT: Also check timing and adjust as necessary
