I have to admit I've neglected my car.
I just installed a Webber redline FPR on my 4 port 13b with rebuilt dellorto.
Runs better at 2.5 psi.
Inspected my ignition system, found worn dizzy cap and rotor, leaking leading old school Alison oil filed coil and burnt coil wire...
Replaced coils with blaster 8222 new cap and rotor. Still waiting on NGK plug wires.
Will the stock electronic ignition system support these coils?

Yes, I've run the old MSD Blaster 2 coils for about 10 years now with no issues whatsoever. They're the only things as good as the factory coils, since they're designed to be durable and not leak when mounted sideways in the OEM location on our cars.

Your car should have no problems firing those coils as long as the rest of your ignition is in good shape - sounds like you're already handling that, though. Good luck,

All tuned and set up! Still lumpy at idle not too bad!!. Runs extreamly strong and smoothly after3.5-4k rpms.
This has been a hobby car purchased not running and I don't drive it much. As an ex mechanic I understand the basics. I have rebuilt the dell 48 added a fpr set at 2.5 psi, full rebuild of the ignition inc new coils, seafoam in half a tank. Etc...The car has a 4 port 13 b rebuilt approx 55k ago. Will a street port cause a rough idle? Some porting done just don't know to what extent. Or should I check compression?
