Trans to engine bolts
The bolts to connect the trans to the engine appear to be 10mm dia with 1.25 mm pitch except for the long bolt the threads into the upper starter mount and the short bolt for the lower starter mount. What grade should the bolts be? Is 8.8 enough?
does anyone have the length of each of the six bolts? And the length of the starter bolts? I also have heard that some have used an extra long long bolt on the starter and used the extra length to bolt on a really good electrical ground.
Also what should the trans to engine bolts be torqued to?
This is for a '83 12A into a 1979 SA.

thread pitch
The pitch for the starter bolts is 1.50mm for both the short bolt and the through bolt. Length seems to be 30mm for the short bolt and 120 mm for the through bolt. Or 130mm if you want it to extend a bit so you can use it to bolt on a secure ground.
The Engine to transmission bolts are 1.25 mm pitch and lenghts appear to be 40 mm for the lower right and upper right as looking at the rear of the engine. The top bolt and upper left bolt are 30 mm and the lower left, below the starter is 100 mm.
Please correct me if I have any of this wrong.
I have attached a picture to help locate the bolt positions.
