Is the spark plug broken off? If so a left hand drill will work if you can get it to grab real good it will unscrew the broken plug.

Um, you should be able to drive around just fine with that plug broken off in there. Think about that before you ruin the housing trying to get it out.

If you do try, though, warming the engine up first might make it easier to get out.

PB blaster! The thing is, if it is stripped out, that means that it is turning and not moving out. You would have to drill it out if it is stripped, spray will NOT help.

You mean the hex is stripped? Yea warm the car up, then grab that sucker with vise grips and unscrew it. But like bouis said, dont ruin your housing if it absolutely wont come out. If you get to that point, maybe drive it to a shop and have them remove it for you.

yes, that way if the housing gets damged its *their* fault you may get a new side housing.not, but still they will be alot better at pulling plugs like that without damging them, the same thing happens on boingers all the time, and Ive seen people have to retap or replace their heads from this, dont do it yourself I have the same problem, just no money to take it to a shop, plus its a trailing plug, so youre fine without it P.S. pb blaster is goood ****

Had a similar problem once and took it to a shop. The mechanic simply broke the ceramic part of the plug, welded a bolt to the remaining part, and unbolted it. Piece of cake.

T2 plug? Yeah, take it to a shop or leave it alone. You can drive without a functioning trailing ignition system (unless it's an '84-'85... stupid fuel pump relay). Just don't strip the threads in the rotor housing.

I have an '85. Care to elaborate about the fuel pump relay and its relationship to the trailing ignition system?

I guess I am missing something here, but it looked like he said it was stripped inside the block. Not an easy grab it with vise grips and rip it out fix.
