i got pics off all this but my main question is that are the housings still good?

The mark above the trailing plug doesn't look like anything an apex seal or rotor would make, see if it will wipe off. Post pics of the area between the plugs and the exhaust port. That's where most of the edge chipping/wear occurs. Run a fingernail across the lines around the exhaust port. If you can feel them, I wouldn't reuse the housing.
Judge Ito has a repair method he uses on that part of the coolant ring groove that has fractured out. Search the 'Engine Building/Porting' section over at NoPistions.com.

lol guys u can see that the funny lines above the spark plug hole are just marks in the layer of soap or whatever it is, caused by him feeling the score marks with his fingernail :P Nothing too fret over

You do realize that I have taken apart ALOT of engines and have found the same marks in the same spot on housings that are actually grooves and the housings are not useable.

I knew that was a fingernail mark. Lol I've done the same thing myself to check score marks.
That broken section on your plate is fairly common on 2nd gen engines. Planned obsolescence at work. Replace the plate and throw it back together.

Yep,the irons on 2nd gen/later engines tend to do that, especially if the coolant isnt attended to regularly.Heres a good article about the same problem........
