Too much oil?

I am running 20w50 castro in my 84 gsl. But i wasnt aware thatu friend had already filled it up before i added 32 oz of lucas heavy duty oil stabilizer. Its showing about an inch past the full mark on the dipstick. ....am i doomed?

To lazy to drain into clean container and then refill to proper level?

yes. But aside from that i am 35 miles way from home right now and am using my smart phone to get some answers before i start driving it more. now to the original question at hand do i need to get a tow or am i Ok too drive it . And if you dont have anything to say in regards to the questions please keep your fuking mouth shut.

haha lol. i know what you mean man, welcome to the forum!lol. you will be fine for the ride home! this still can cause aeration of the oil as it needs time to separate coming from the rotors into the pan. dumping it directly into more oil will not allow for this separation, and depending on how much room is left in the pan it might leak a little from the gaskets. do take care of it as soon as possible but as for rite now you shuldn't run into any problems if its only a quart.

Risk it if you want, but you might blow out the oil control rings. Not worth the risk. Pull the drain plug, let a quart or so drain out, then replace the plug. If you have a wrench, you should be able to do this. Much simpler than swapping out an engine.
