The story is that I bought the springs here in Houston from a retailer and have had them on for about a year along with the front bar and bushings etc. I remember being told by someone that they were around 145 front and 120 rear. I have noticed that front of the car seems to be a bit more squishy than it used to be. I also installed tokico blues at the same time because I thought I would be racing the car in spec 7. Found out later that se models were not allowed and so decided to keep everything so I could use it as a track car. I want to know the spring rates because I was thinking of upgrading with the eibach sports in the front who I know to have 175 # rates. I would also replace the front blues with a new set. What do you think?

dont' forget e36 bmw's.
Actually, a 12a car wtih GSL-SE suspension parts is really just a bastard...that wouldn't qualify in ITS either, as the car classified there is the 13b...right?

love the braaaap
I don't think there is a class for your car except some sort of modified class. Either that or you put a 13B in it and race in ITS. It would be a formitable platform in that class though, since it is lighter than a GSL-SE.

So when it comes to IT prepping tell me what is differnent about the GSL-SE suspension?
I guess the brakes would be the major thing. LSD was optional on GSLs.
Spring rates and shocks are open in IT...so that doesn't matter.
Go back to the original GSL brakes and the subsequent bolt spacing and there is no reason you couldn't run in ITA.
