Talking TII Transmission into SA Rx7?

So I know the shifter location is different with the SA in comparison to the FB's. I just purchased a 85' with a Pineapple built street ported TII, and a old Haltech setup for the early 00's. The car is in ruff shape though, and I did not take any photos. I will this weekend though! He took the front bumper off, and fender are off when I got there. He was going to try a Rx3 like front, but kid #4 is due any day. So my lucky day It runs and drives though, and on race gas it made 410hp, and on pump gas they tuned it down between 350-300hp. The thing is sick! This is motor is #3 for the build because they used cheap rubber on the fuel line I guess and it pinched starving the first two... not a cheap mistake. The OG owner who had it just before the guy I got it from had all these problems. Between the dyno time, trips to Portland, and 3x motors the car had about $27000 tossed into it. I think the OG owner died, or his soul did because the guy I got it from was good friends so he ended up with the car. The car has sat for over 8 years, and that a little worry some about seals, but hey the engine should have about 1000 miles on it so it should be fine... right? Best $3500 I have ever spent.

I do have a rather nice 79' body I want to swap it all in, but there is the transmission shifter location problem. Can I swap the transmission tail pieces off the Sa and put it on the TII trans to keep the stock location?

You need to search on here, theres a way to do it but you need the right combo of SA tranny and FB transmission. Not sure about the TII one though.

never had hands on a T2 trans but i'd suspect the part of relocating the shifter is the same as it is for an FB trans.
