TIA: Advice, Hard to do 5lug swap to SA???

Hey guys,

I just grabbed up a GXL and wanted to swap everything over including hubs.. Is this possible? How expensive and how hard?

Possible? Anything is possible, it just depends on how much money you want to spend.

How expensive? If you have to ask you probably cant afford it.

Just a few words of wisdom my father has drilled into my head time and time again.

But seriously, swapping to 5 lug is not a common mod for 1st gens. There are people that have put a FC subframe in their cars, so that would allow you to have 5 lug in the front.

As for the rear, the FC uses IRS whereas the FB does not. I dont think I've ever seen anyone swap the FC rear onto a first gen. And doing so would be a royal pain in the ***.

Now, if you wanted to use the cheap method to get to 5 lug you could allways get some wheel spacers.
