Unhappy My engine leaks oil ..

I have a 83 RX-7 with a 12A. When i bought the car, i knew the engine was in poor condition. I have bad oil control seals so i can't revv it over 6000rpm in the actual condition of the engine. I have a SE 13B engine that i could put in the car. But my engine is leaking oil a little bit. Does it mean that i need a rebuilt soon or i can run it let's say for 4-5 months? If i put the 13B, i have to find an Road Race RB header and they are pretty rare. The engine runs great under 6000rpm, it doesn't take too much oil. But since one week, it is leaking oil.

Can you give me some advices ?

well first off i think you can get a header form racing beat for your 13b. if i were you i would swap the 13b in soon just to be safe. then ya wont have to worry about logn trips or anyhting like that then you can rebuild the 12a mebbe bridge it for some fun or watever. its up to you.

You're going to need another intake manifold for your carb too.

I heard it fits on the 13B ... It's on my 12A right now. I heard i have a modification to the engine brackets and the 13B header.

Yeah the upper half is the same.

If the -SE engine has the mount brace on it already, all you need is the header.
