thrust bearing

I didn't label stuff when I took the strut out. Now I can't remember which of two things is the thrust bearing. I have two things that look like washers, one is smaller in diameter and thinner. Which one is the thrust bearing?

the thicker one goes on the strut itself, between the thingie that holds the coil in place AND the strut tower. Sorry, I cant remember **** right now...started my 3day weekend early.

I just looked at the parts fiche, and shows a different order than the FSM. It's like what you said, the thicker one between the plate that sits on top of the springs, then the mounting block, then a spacer, the locknut and the top nut. WTF?

Now I looked at the 79-80 fiche and it shows what the FSM shows. So I figure I go by what the fiche shows, right?
