The thrills of building your wifes car. LOL
So, I talked my wife into a 7 a while back. Figured it would make getting parts etc. easier and who wouldn't want another 7 in the drive, right? Deal was, she chooses, I build. She chose an 85 silver GS. So far so good. Then my spare 12a. Hmmm, ok I'll deal with it. Now she's getting my other exhaust, an RB header to 3" stainless, back to a Magnaflow. Oh, since I'm getting a 48 Dellorto to put on my street port, she wants my weber 45 and intake now too. LOL She got her new carpet in, and I've started putting it in. also ordered a CF gearshift and steering wheel, black seat covers with pink flowers and leather shift boot and e-brake cover with pink stitching. So, here's some pics.

The wife has set aside the money for a pinnk racing stripe down the top/hood/hatch and or pink graphics. Also if anyone happens to know where I can find some pink or pink and grey seats, let me know, some chrome or pink fender flares too. LOL
Thats awesome! My fiancee has a FB too! She helped with the motor rebuild and carb build. I think your best bet on the seats would be to get them re-wrapped at a upholstery shop. Cant wait to see the end result bro...
Looks like you guys are having fun with it. I cant really say how I feel about the pink cause I have nothing to do with it but im sure you can pull it off.
Maybe some pink fender flares, or maybe black flares with some pink centers on some Enkie 92' could be tasteful and not over done and some pink decals here and there. Also some mostly grey seats with pink accents or piping would be nice. lol
Anyway have fun and good luck.

Thanks for the comments, I'm totally cool with any of you guys that don't care for it. Like I said, it's the wifes car and our deal was that she got to choose everything, so I'm just trying to do the best job I can and ignore the pallet. LOL Though I actually am glad she ended up with the pink instead of some of the other color combos she was thinking about.
At least it will go with the grey and silver ok. I told her I promised not to bitch as long as she was happy with the end result because she's picking everything out. She wants a "girl" ride and a "zippy" car. She says the side benefit of doing it in her colors is that she knows none of the guys including me will want to drive it when it's done. LOL

LMAO! My wife didn't like my red FB or my beige one, but said the silver one is awsome. I tried to explain it's the same car in a different color, but she says the others are ugly. LOL
i bought clear mats for mine too, but that doesn't mean when it rains water and other stuff won't get around them
, but she is a woman so she may be more careful than i am.

Well, though I hate to see my hard work go to waste, I told her from the get go that it's her car and once I finish it up "her way" it's up to her to take care of it. Hopefully she does, as the last car I customised for her, a Thunderbird, has been getting trashed. I fabbed a fiberglass console, and custom door mount speaker pods, suede door panels and kick *** stereo. She never really liked the car, so it doesn't get cared for well.
