For those with Borla Pro XS under car

For those of you out there running the Borla Pro XS under the car, what did you have to do in order to fit it so that the car did not bottom out on it. I have a cheapo down where the main cat used to be right now that is about burned through that I want to replace. I want to make sure that I can fit it in a way that will keep it from dragging on things. Do I need to remove the heat shield from the cats? Pics of where you put them would be much appreciated.

I have no heatshielding under the car, and got it placed right where the cats used to me. Never got it seated straight, so it is kind of slanted. No scraping or anything.

I can get some pictures of you would like.

Maybe the Borla is just smaller than the cheapo I have, but man does mine scrape. Speed bumps are hell for that muffler. I'll take off the heat shielding when I fit it. Pics would be great if you have them.

Yours is tucked up there pretty good. I think I was worried about having the muffler so close to the header outlet, so it made it harder to fit. I suppose with these things it's not a problem because of the warranty.

TeamSMS: If you've got pics I'd love to see them. I'm putting in the order for one of these mufflers tonight.

P.S. Jeezus, it would be sweet if you could make the search button in your sig clickable.

^^^That's what the link under it is LOL That looks pretty good. I still like having no muffler under there though and just being able to run one out back. RB FTW LOL
