thinking about a carb

I know I want to upgrade my GSL more sometime but I dont want to loose gas milage. I was wondering if you get a decent carb if you drive it concervitivly that u will get better gas milage then the stock carb driven the same way. I know a carb will use more when baggin but thats for the extra power, I just dont want it to be worse on gas for normal drivin. Will it make my milage worse/same/better under concervitive driving conditions? What is the best carb to get?

tune the stock carb. anything with better flow takes up more gas to use and hurts gas mileage. Is your exhaust stock? if it is i'd start with a header back system. the increase in throttle response is amazing. You could try the mechanical secondaries mod for power when you want it. other than that, the stock carb might just be the best solution for gas mileage.
