The Things to Watch Out For on Your New Rx-7 Thread

Hi folks-
This is a thread to list the different things a new Rx-7 owner may encounter as trouble with his car.
Please only contribute ONE responce, be short and to the point in your answer, and don't waste thread space by "discussing" (arguing) .
(I.E., don't answer if you don't know what the hell you're talking about.)

It's for the benifit of us all, so let's be as professional and concise as possible in our contributions.

Coolant leak under carb above where intake mounts to motor is bad O rings. Replace intake gasket and replace O rings or seal with 22 mm freeze plugs

Watch out for a leaky oil metering pump (OMP). Mike Lowe at http://www.loweperformance.com has an inexpensive kit with instructions on how to rebuild it. It's an easy afternoon project.
