In Australia, all rx7's have back seats. We didn't get the option of storage bins at all, in fact I've never seen one thats been converted here. Only cars that have had the rear seat removed to fit a big stereo system.
The rear seats are completely useless, but yeh they do help for storage space when folded down. Man, you can fit heaps in the back of an rx7!

All the 2+2's are more for eye's and maybe a child seat. I imagine there is some roadside story where people where sitting in those back seats all day on just a horrible drive somewhere for some reason. Makes my back hurt just thinking about it.

These are my messy seats OEM Euro FB.
Im lead to believe tahat Mazda build the 2+2 for racing homologation purpose.
4 seater = Saloon
