Question Thermostat Question.

I notice that my 7 runs much cooler without the thermostat.
Is it safe to run without the thermostat? and what would be the effects if theirs any of running without it.

Running cooler isn't necessarily better. Combustion efficiency takes place in a fairly narrow temperature range, outside of that range AFRs change, which affects mileage. Oddly, running a rotary w/o a thermostat tends to cause them to run warmer. Newer engines now run in a higher temperature range to increase fuel mileage.
