Wow, those look great. I didn't think they fit GSL-SE's though. I wish Brembo or Wildwood would make a bolt in kit for SE's.

Looking at you Konigs again = damn I love them.

Why do you like Bremdo and Wildwood so much. Sure they are both high quality. But so is the 7's only kit. The Hub assy. is a smooth milled piece, Very nice. I don't know much about the Outlaw calipers but Sevens only has been useing them for four years now with no big problems. When I first called sevens only and talked to Tom he told me alot about the kit and how happy he is with it, he said brake pads are at 50% even after a day of racing. But of course he is trying to sell them. And I spent a lot of money on them so I'm going to talk them up as well.

$2500 wow that's a lot. Do you remember the specs?

The sevens only front kit is around $1400.

If I remember correctly, it's because the Seven's only kit has to have custom hubs. I would prefer a kit where you can use replaceable rotors, and keep the stock hubs in. That way you could replace rotors with blanks, and not have to "custom" anything.

Eh, I could be wrong, it's been a while since I've read up on it.

Either way - I am jealous!

Those do look sexy... What I don't get is doesn't the brake bias get thoroughly screwed up with huge brakes in front and the original teeny rear brakes?

Front brake bias is the devil, IMHO. I like my car to rotate under almost all conditions.

Couldn't that be remedied with a brake bias valve?

More pix and info

Its a real nice piece of work

As you can see, it uses a easily replaceable standard outer rotor, on a fully machined aluminum hub. which allows you to go to a larger rotor if you wanted, just need a new caliper and spacer.

Old rotor was 17lbs, this one is 14lbs

you could install a brake bias adjuster for maximum benefit, as Paul has done.

The thing I am wondering now....

It seems the surface the pad will ride on is the same width. Does it really make a stopping distance if the surface is the same, just, longer because of the greater diameter?

Greater diameter of the rotor? If thats what you mean, then I think it's because a bigger rotor will disipate heat quicker then the smaller. Therefore help make you stop quicker?

heres the caliper that they use for the kit
http://outlawdiscbrakes.com/3000_4000.html

they also make a rear kit

I also found a company that makes the aluminum hubs with the 4 x 4.5 used in the kit

Will I make my own...................

They also have a rear kit as well. It uses the same rotor and caliper.
