cdrad51 12-07-04 07:13 PM

Yeah, going 120 down the highway, I'd like to see you do that in your dragster wannabe car of yours!

Sterling 12-07-04 07:29 PM

Well, there's fast...

-And then there's stupid.

Besides, what the hell good is being able to go 120 down the highway if it takes you the whole damn highway to get going that fast?!

Not really. Stats on 85 GSL:

Transmission: Manual
0-60: 9.9
1/4 Mile: 17.4

Whoops, just realized it is a ported motor. Ok then, bad news =\

therotaryrocket 12-07-04 07:36 PM

would those stats on the 85 GSL be a stock one? Cdrad's is modded up and Street ported and stuff, BTW 0-60 with a passenger would be slower so G-Tech IS a more accurate way.

Hey that's not fair he edited while I was typing...I now have over 100 posts, does that mean I get a custom avatar?

setzep 12-07-04 07:42 PM

0-60 is horrible (stock 205's). I bet 60-100 is faster.

I know, but you don't need to tell us about your driving habits Dennis :rlaugh:

Ok so I'm home now. Be back in a few mins with the bleed numbers.

Hope it's not too late for you Dennis. Hopefully you don't go to bed like the chickens, at sunset.

Sterling 12-07-04 07:57 PM

Mine is stockport 12A w/ my modded carby, but my naughty lil' secret is the aluminum flywheel. ;)

Sterling 12-07-04 08:08 PM

Man yer as slow-assed as yer car!

cdrad51 12-07-04 08:12 PM

Ok 31s and 47's. What is your divine advice, oh Supreme Deity of the Carburetors?

Sterling 12-07-04 08:25 PM

Uh Gueeze, I got nuthin', man. :(

Sterling 12-07-04 08:30 PM

OK, I'm just fuckin with ya.

List all the jets you have.
Then I have to convert them to standard so I know WTF I'm seeing!
Then I'll PM you with my suggestion.

Heh-heh. Suckers. It's like watching Kill Bill Vol. One, or The Matrix Part II.
Just leaves ya hangin there!
(Unless fat-ass is gonna go for a drive tonight.)

cdrad51 12-07-04 08:34 PM

No, too wet tonight for a drive. So here's the numbers: fuel jets: 59s for primaries, 70s for secs, air bleeds: 31s for primaries, 47s for secs. There you go crybaby, converted to standard so your dumb gringo brain doesn't have to work too much! :D

RotaryRyan 12-07-04 08:46 PM

Wow! long, funny thread. Ive been gone fr awhile:( I always enjoy watching you and dennis argue:D

Anyway, the G-tech always tells you your car is slow. It might be right but.... I dont know. I have one and the best 0-60 i could get was 8.8 secs or so. But if i were to take a stopwatch and have a friend time my 0-60, it would be alot quicker. Its weird. I think the gtech is cool and all, but it makes you feel bad.lol

You guys prolly know my modifications (see sig). all of its still the same except that my car is not a daily driver anymore:(

RotaryRyan 12-07-04 08:48 PM

BTW, why do you have "stealth mode" on or whatever? I cant tell if your on:D

Sterling 12-07-04 08:50 PM

Oh, you stole a calcuator from work?

Loser.

I wanted a list of the others that you have, too.

cdrad51 12-07-04 08:51 PM

I do have the invisibility shield. :D

No you antediluvian fuck, I use Google. Type for example "1.50 mm to inches" and watch the magic

Man, I put the air horn back on already. Can't you work with just those?

RotaryRyan 12-07-04 09:07 PM

google is teh best for conversions! Like a long time ago, when i still had my OMP and i wanted to test it. The haynes tells you the measurments in cc's. I converted it to like 1/4 teaspoons or something.......BAH!
