Also you're gonna have to get a better method than the cellphone :p: . Why don't you get one of the old G-tech like I did? they sell on Ebay for $40. They'll measure 1/4 mile time too. And while their precision might not be like the equipment at the drag strip, or even the latest G-tech model, you'll have to admit is better than the cellphone method :D

True, but its all I have right now. Maybe I can borrow an actual stop watch or something from someone. How it works is, they say GO and I hammer it and then they watch for 60 to happen while I am paying attention to driving and shifting.

Sterling 12-07-04 04:21 PM

Pull the damn airhorn!
You can't expect Carl to remember your carb's jetting configuration!
You always did think you were all too special! :p:

cdrad51 12-07-04 04:24 PM

Of course I am :D

I thought those were standard and he would know.

Rx7carl 12-07-04 04:26 PM

Carlos, youve rejetted this thing a bunch of times. I dont know what jets are in there now. Is there anything else that you needed to know?

cdrad51 12-07-04 04:28 PM

The air jets. I haven't touched them. What did you send it with?

Sterling 12-07-04 04:34 PM

No, they are modified by yours truely, and they require tuning and attention every bit as much as the fuel jets. I've told you that many times.

You sure do act like a noob for such an old man!

cdrad51 12-07-04 04:38 PM

Carl, please ban Dennis :D

I know I know Dennis, that's why I'm asking Carl what he sent it with, so I can tell you, so you can impart your divine knowledge, so I can get a fast fucking car!

But he aint gonna remeber, Noob!

Jess pop it off. It couldn't be any simpler! You don't even have to remove the T-cable. WTF?!
Hell if it's a big-mouth horn (79-80) you can just shine a light in the top an see 'em!

Sheesh. What a lazy bastard!

Sterling 12-07-04 05:49 PM

Uhhh-Huhhh.
You got it off yet fat ass?

IanS 12-07-04 05:51 PM

Yeah I may need some popcorn. This may get good.

cdrad51 12-07-04 05:51 PM

I gotta wait until I get back home. Will let you know tonight oh master!

Sterling 12-07-04 06:03 PM

Oh right...you work.
Do you know what spare jets you have in your lil' pillbox?

cdrad51 12-07-04 06:11 PM

Yeah I work

I only have the smaller jets I was using for fuel as I went up from 147 to 155s and back down to 150s, and 165s up to 170s. Suspect those would be too big for air jets?

Siraniko 12-07-04 06:13 PM

I Suspect You Need A 48 Ida :d

cdrad51 12-07-04 06:16 PM

wacko, stop it! :D

Sterling 12-07-04 06:19 PM

Yeah, we'll need to see what's in the carby. Those jets might be better than what you have.

Mel's just askin for a burnin'!

IanS 12-07-04 06:22 PM

*munches popcorn and drinks his cherry vanilla dr pepper* ON WITH THE SHOW

cdrad51 12-07-04 06:27 PM

We should charge for people to read this thread. It's such an entertainment show!

Sterling 12-07-04 06:36 PM

Cheap-ass.

DAVID GRIMES 12-07-04 06:50 PM

Prolly not carb at all. Sounds like compression is 60's all around.

Pass the 'corn, Ian.
