Test pipe

Im sure somone has already posted something about this but i couldnt seem to find anything... (sorry)

Im looking for a test pipe to replace my cat converter.. i dont want anything fancy looking or anything.. just cheap... Either that, or can anyone tell me which flanges i would need to weld up my own?.. i need the flanges that will connect to the end of a small cat.-looking thing that is just after the exhaust manifold, and the one that would connect to the connecting pipe.

I was also wondering if the Racing Beat PowerPulse pre-silencer would take the place of the original pellet cat?

If you check your local muffler shop they may have one laying around that will cost you about 25$ to 50$ i think... dependin on if you know the guy or not. I always go to the same people if they do me a good job the first time. so check the local shops around where you live and should be able to pick one up cheap.

the RB silencer only takes place of the cat IF you are using the RB headers both as one..but the RB cat pipe cannot be used in conjunction with the RB headers..it is one or the other...

either...

RB header and silencer..(or custom welded in pipe)

or

RB cat pipe bolted right in to fit with your stock manifold

my setup is the RB header with a cheap welded in pipe that connects to the old rusty connecting pipe which ran from the RB muffler and now connects to the RB header...cost was cheap and nobody sees it but as long as i dont have any leaks im fine with it...and it isnt loud at all

if you go my way then all you need is to order one RB muffler flange and gasket..i welded the pipe right to the flange at one end and then cut my connecting pipe flange off and just welded the two pipes directly together....
