temp gauge?

hey there im curious
it seems as tho my temperature gauge on my dash doesnt seem to work
im wondering how i can fix it so that it gives me a reading on it
it always stays at the very bottom

Check the wire at the sensor just below the oil filter. It looks like a really small spark plug with one wire coming off of it.

clean the connections to see if it helps. i would also suggest installing a decent aftermarket gauge as insurance.

I just finished repairing my gauge. If you find that your sender still works and the gauge itself is faulty, I can repost how to fix it (or at least how I fixed mine).

ok i went out and cleaned the sensor and the wire part that clips onto the prong, and still no luck
i wonder why, its never seemed to work, but id really like it if it did..
any ideas?
