With the new distributor I will need to find the TDC to line up everything. How do I find TDC?

Line up the mark on the main pully with the pin on the front cover. I believe it is the yellow mark on the pully. There is a red one also that is for the trailing timing.
Some one correct me if I am wrong on the color.

The one farthest to the drivers side is the leading mark.

Got the leading down and TDC. Now how do I know if I put the new Dis. in the right way. Do I have to position it in any specfic direction?

One the engine is at TDC then you will have to pull the dist. out and line up the marks on the bottom of it and put it back in to the engine.
