Question sweet find but???

i have a ? and i have read it before but id like to understand it through my ? i have found in the paper a guy who is paring out 5 80-85 rx-7 ill find out tomorrow if any are gsl or gslse. If so if i find lets say an 83 gsl 3rd member will it fit into my 84 gs diff or do i need the whole shabang to make it work. i will let everyone know what he has available for he is only asking 5-200$ for any given part.

The only way a '83 differential is going to fit into a '84-85 GS is to do are complete rear axle swap including park brake cables (if a GSL).
