Suspension too high 4 my RX7

Hey Gang I'm new to the forum. OK here's the deal. I have a 1985 RX7. I bought these fancy smancy 215/40ZR/17 tires. So when I put the tires on. The tire rubs on the coil springs. Keep in mind that's with the 1/4" spacer.

So I bought KYB struts with the Ground Contral coilovers and it's not working. The coilovers are fine. I have the proper clearance between the spings and the tires. The problem is the front strut (KYB) is too high! Now it lookes like a lifted RX7.

What am I doing wrong? Do I need to start from scratch?

Welcome to the forum . . .

I'll be one of the first to tell you, pics will be helpful. Pictures of the coilovers and the whole car to see the height.
