Exactly. I always look for OE parts when possible / practical. They're usually a lot more durable -- and cheaper, too. Both the Bosch pumps I used in my setup are OE pumps. Other good brands to look for are Denso and Walbro.

The SE pump should be ok as you'd have to be under full load for quite some time to suck the surge tank dry.

Very nice the only thing is that I have a bigger tank and I dont know if it fits under.

That's a big tank to use as a surge tank. I'm sure it would work, but you can probably make something that will work as well and package easier. The skinnier and taller, the better. My tank is 3" dia aluminum X 10.2" tall, and REVHED's looks to be about the same. Tall skinny tanks don't allow the fuel to slosh away from the pickup.

Here's an excellent guide on swirl pot design: http://www.fortunecity.com/silversto.../swirlfaq.html

And here's a picture of mine, which satisfies most of the guidelines.

Thats a great set up there. It looks like I have to make me a smaller tank. I wanted to make this happen before I go to the Dyno. But since is a big task I guess I just run with a full tank for right now.
