NGK plugs pre gapped?

Or do I have to set the gap? They are NGK BR8EQ-14s. The box says to set the gap. Does anyone know?

You don't have to set the gap on our plugs.

AFAIK, all plugs are appropriately gapped for their application. Every NGK BR8EQ14 or BR9EQ14 I've ever seen is properly gapped. In fact, it would be a disservice not to pregap a multi-electrode plug.

But if you use a plug intended for different application, then you may have to gap it. I once used some, IIRC, NGK BR8ES that I had to re-gap to .060 (I used my vernier caliper to find a screwdriver tip that was 1.5 mm = .060").

Single electrode like B9EGV's you may need to check gapage....but the stock 4-prongers are fine from the box.

Just stick with the stock plugs as suggested above, they are tried and true.
