supercoils

Anyone tried replacing their coils with accel supercoils in the factory location. If so, how did they do? I unplugged one and it sparked pretty good. Unplugged the other and it didn't spark near as well (the poorer one was the one closer to the driver). I don't know which is leading and which is trailing.

Trailing is toward the front of the car because it;s closer to the trailing part of the cap. Mazda did this so the high tension wires wouldn't need to be crossed.

I tried the accel super coils. I didnt feel any difference, but then my old ones were fine. Before you spend the $, make sure the coil is the problem. Swap coils and see first.

I'm with RX7Carl - I use 'em but I don't see any improvement over stock. I'm running MSD so I had to buy another coil - and Accel's are cheap (in price) compared to most of the other so called super coils so that was my choice.
If you are replaing a coil, they work fine - but I wouldn't assume they are much of an upgrade

That's why I use Diamond coils in my points to electronic conversions.
