The hinges would def be preferred and I'll pay for them. If I can't get any, I'll be hitting up my machine guy to fabricate some pieces from a drawing I made that will get the job done with the metal hinges found on the normal sunroof.

Ha ha!! Thread from the Dead is back!!
...and now the rest of the story...
I ended up having Matt from Lemco Motorsports fabricate hinge plates with threaded pedestals so that the normal steel hinge pieces from a regular moonroof could be used. I had Brian's Powdercoating Services coat the hinges a nice metallic blue color and a semi-gloss black was used for the hinge pieces and the screws to hold it all together.
The next step will be to get some small rotor decals in white outline to make that blue pop.
Just in time to enjoy it on our 102 deg F days we're starting to enjoy here in the Metroplex!! Nonetheless, I'm glad I finally got this done, my regular moonroof had actually rusted all the way through in two spots and water was getting in. I had to glop gasket goo over the holes...real classy.
To anyone wanting to replicate this effort or just replacing hardware...FYI, the hinge pieces are side-specific...
