sunroof kite

I decided to take my fb out for a drive and a trip to the Mazda Dealer for a test drive of the RX8, thanks by the way Lookieme, when at about 80 the sunroof went woooooooooooosh. I knew the latch was broken but figured I'd use it as one of them Nascar keep me grounded flaps in case I got backasswards. I figured that the wind going over the car would keep it down but I figured wrong. Any idea how far one of those can fly at 80? About 300 feet into the desert if mine is the norm. Found it unscathed and decide to take the rest of my drive with the sunroof off.

I wonder if I would have the same luck if the whole car did that many flips?

Mulder and Scully can finally rest easy. After all these years, all the UFO photos from New Mexico - were nothing more than flying FB sunroofs!
