Is the diagram under the hood still there. It is pretty detailed. If it isn't about the only thing is the haynes manual

If you don't have the underhood diagram, I could get a picture of it for you. Or you could just remove the rats nest, and not have to worry about anymore.

I have the original mazda shop manual for my 83 GS somewhere. I'll try to find it and scan some pix in when I unpack this junk.

I am so sorry....I didn't write this down and forgot all about it....I'm doing a late shift tonight, but I'm back to normal hours tomorrow...if you're still in trouble then, I'll Email the pics directly of my carb and all the lines...

I don't see how being hooked up wrong would hurt anything...it's all vacuum and ****...unless you hook your fuel line up to an oil injector or something...lol

Peace! Vaccume free! SOrry for that double, No Tripple post.

I have had experience with vaccume lines, and it required a lot of patience. I compleatly re-hosed my FD with silicone hose from Hose Techniques. You know how many vaccume hoses a 3rd Gen has!!! My parents thought I'd never get my car back together. Heh. I sure did impress my dad when I got it all back together, and in doing so solved a mystery the dealers (3 of them) couldn't solve, and I got my 2nd Turbo to kick in. I had the car up to 130mph going through Montana when there was no speed limit on one turbo, and that was as fast as she would go, so a second turbo gets you another 30-32mph i guess.

Anyways I hope you figure your hoses out. YOu using some nice colored silicone hose, or stock rubber?

How do you hook 'em all back up?

YOU LABEL THEM THE FIRST TIME! I made that mistake, and frig, it was a bitch to put them all back. Unfortunately I still don't have it running properly, though I doubt my problem is a vacuum leak now. Unfortunately I have to have the emissions system "intact" to pass a safety check, but after that I'll do the emissions removal tutorial. The way my province works, the *only* garages that can do the safety check are the government-apointed garages. There's one about 15min away and another one an hour away, and that's it. And you can't "get to know" them or find ways round it, they always catch things like that.
