So when you tried the speaker wire could you pull it all the way through? If not then more then likely you'll have to replace it, because of the dirt that is stuck in it. (which means messing with the head liner)

I guess you could try some compressed air.

Take a stiff piece of home electrical romex and shove it through, you will have to probally jab it in there really good. Its probally got leaves, dirt etc in it. The rear sunroof drains exit through the rear vents next to the 1/4 glasses.

There are...

1. Plasitc clips underneath it the headliner that clip into the roof. (You usally have to pop them with a flat tip screw driver. Depending the condition some might need to be relaced. Which you can pick up at Home Depot, Lowes, or local Auto store)

2. Metal clips that hold on to the rim of the sun roof. (Under the rubber sealing)

3. You might have to remove the plasitc paneling around the top of the door.

4. Remove the rear view mirror.

5. Remove the sun visors.

6. Remove the hooks behind the driver and passagner side seats. (the ones that you can but a close hanger one, ect...)

I beleive that is it. It's alot easier then it sounds.

I had the same problem when I got my car from the junk yard after sitting under pine trees for the past couple years and then mixed with the Seattle rain...Oh it was ugly. I still find pine needles everywhere. I tok the header panel off (where the windshield wipers are) and there was about 4" of pine needles in there . Anyway, I used some compressed air and it cleared my drains right up .

would you happen to know what the tubes are made of, i was afraid to try the stiffer wire, but if the tubes are stout enough i will ram a stronger wire in there,, wonder if some kind of solvent might work, if i protect the paint finish while pouring it in....

They are made of a pretty hefty rubber/silocone. Id say maybe 1/8" thick? Its some pretty good stuff. At one point I actualy shoved a coat hanger and multiple screwdrivers down them .Its pretty similar to anything you would find under the hood, only the tubes are clear .
