carb bolt

carb bolt

Pulling the carb off but got one bolt thats a pain in the ***. The one by the accelerator pump. Any easy way to get at it?

Nope, but if I remember the bolt correctly, a stubby wrench makes things a bit easier. I wonder if Craftsman is ever going to release stubby versions of those Wrenchit things (an absolutely ingenious idea for a tool...can't think of how many times I wanted to use a socket where only a wrench would fit.)

LOL...your not the first one to have this problem, trust me. There really isn't an easy way to get to it. Just take your time and don't get pisted.

I don't have a set of those craftsman wratchet wrenches, but I do have some thing similiar and unless the craftsman wrenches are much better.... then they aren't worth the money to me. I can never seem to find a damn spot where they would be handy and will fit.

But you gotta love those hard to reach spots!

Got it off turns out someone replaced the nut with another one because i found the orginal once the carb was off.
