Sunroof Disaster
So... I forgot to latch my sunroof in my '79 SA one day before I took off... Oops!
I found a roof from an '80+, and I was wondering if anybody has converted either the car to a later style or a later roof back to the '79. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, because the latches should be in the same place, but if there is an experienced person out there with any tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but, iirc, 79 had it's own unique sunroof and none of the the later ones fit. It's not worth the effort to change roof or headliner to accommodate the 80+ sunroof. The 79 sunroof is part of what makes that year unique. Have patience you'll find one. Post a WTB in the 1st gen for sale section.
