how do i remove the thingies that hold the sunroof on?
i removed the 4 screws and i cannot figure out how to remove em! pls help

 

Ok, it's been a while, but I'm pretty sure after you remove the screws... If you're referring to the 2 thingy's that hold it in up front... it's just glue after you remove the screws. Use needle nose pliers wrapped in a wash cloth or something. grab from the side, lift. Use the washcloth to prevent dinging, and get it from the side so you don't bend it too bad.

why are you taking them off, anyway? I took mine off cause they were rusted and I wanted to clean them up and paint them... You?

 

i am repainting the car and theres a big rust hole and the "thingy" is in the way.

 

ok i figured it out there are 6 screws all in all but its ok a little bendie a little pushie and there it is it pops out with the bottom plte thingie attached
