I'm on my second FB and in both cases, the sun roof rattles. Has anyone come up with a fix for this??

 

Ive heard a rear strut/shock/whatever bar fixes it, but Ive never tried it. You can get a rear bar from Manntis' website at www.rotorhead.ca

Is this rattleing ehrn open or closed?

Mine does not rattle at all.

Have you tried replacing the seal that seals the sunroof when it is closed?

 

Both - I know it's the catch mechanism that causes it. There's a little play where the pins drop in and I can't figure out how to tighten it up. I do need a new seal but that would only help when the roof is closed and maybe not even then (no leaks by the way) - I'm going to keep mess'in with it - if I can fix it, I'll post the results. Someone posted something on this way back but I can't find it - seems to me someone had it figured out.
