I have them on my Subaru Impreza, has stock 16" rims so I may be no help, but anyway I love them. Great wet/dry traction. The only thing I wish was a little better was the sidewalls. Hitting corners I can feel them give a little. They seem to be a little soft. But other than that they have been great for me.

205/60/13 htr 200's on my car, stock wheels. They work great, awesome both wet and dry, they are a joke in snow, but thats what snow tires are for. Tire rack sells them for like $40 a piece, get them you won't be dissapointed.

i just took a long trip with them...

NJ to VA to WV back to NJ totalling 812 miles in 3 days and on the trip they have been driven in sunny days, drizzle, downpours and dirt roads...I'm really happy with the tires...one other plus is they don't make that much noise...not like my cousin's tires...man i could hear those tires coming down the road!

I run 205s on the front. Great traction, but with my 225 Kumhos on the back, I actually push during had cornering- something I attribute to the combination of wide n' sticky rears w/ working lsd, and the sidewall flex of the Sumnitomos.
Great in water. I'm very happy with them, and when I wear out the soft Kumhos in the rear, I'll go Sumitomo for them, too.

I 205/60/13 on stock rims. I love them so far, but just got them so they have not seen rain, and will never see snow (except from the safety of the garage). Get them, they have awesome grip.

Tirerack now carries 215 50/13s and I put them on my 2. They're sticky as hell, but I can't promise they won't rub on a FB.

Thats what I got on my car. On the stock rims. I agree with the others. Quiet, great traction wet or dry (for a street tire) but soft sidewalls. Gotta watch your tire pressures. They barley miss rubbing on the stock springs up front (like by a mm ) But no problems noted so far. The back seems fine.

Dumb question here. Who did you all get to mount & balance the tires? I've never ordered tires before, just got them from the tire store and had them mounted there. Anyone have any trouble getting a shop that would mount them?

If you browse through tirerack.com's site, they have recommended installers. Give them a call before you order, I did, and I got the tires I wanted (Kuhmo's) for a few dollars cheaper than if I ordered through tirerack, and brought them down to the store. And I supported my local economy

Good advice. I found a lot of places near me. But tirerack is not showing the 205/60 or 215/50 HTR 200s. The biggest is 195/60. Are they not made anymore? Anyone know?

For 7.99, Walmart will mount and balance wheels and tires. Sometimes they badmouth 13s, but if they're original rims, Walmart will attempt to mount them (they're a tight fit on the lip) and I've never had any trouble. I just checked the Tire Rack, and yeah, they've dropped the 205 and 215s. Crazy. I just got mine about 2 weeks ago. Check with a local tire store and see if they'll order Sumitomos. You'll pay more than forty bucks a tire, but they're still good, fat 13s that don't cost much.

On the following links, you'll find size charts at the bottom of the page.

By the way, if you ever paid extra to ride on the wings of Goodyear.....

check www.tiretrends.ca

They can get the Sumitomos in 195, 205/60 and 215/50. Their prices are a bit higher than Tirerack, but at least you can get the sizing you want.

Have to agree about the wet traction; have the 205's on my '85 and doubt any other street tire can match them in the wet. Recently autocrossed with my buddy in his 93 Miata with a set; we nearly matched our DRY times in the wet running 45 psi all around!!!

However neither of us think their dry traction is anything special, good but not great. But bang for the buck impossible to beat.

Sanspistons for better grip

Wal-Mart mounted and balanced the last set of tires I purchased (for my Rodeo) and gave me a lifetime balance to boot.
