Suggested Brake/suspension

Well, I'm narrowing down on the "nothing left untouch" stage of my car. I've upgraded, intake, exhaust, and ignition. Now I need to do suspension and brakes. I've been conteplating Tociko blues, Eibachs, or a suspension kit from RB. Which ones do you considered better? I've done searching but no definate answers ever really appear on which is better, since somone always chimes in with "well i got these on my car and i like these better" but they never explain why. Also, good brake pads and slotted rotors....where and how much can I get a "well worth the money" sets. So i guess what i'm asking is...what's everyone running with, and what differences over stock could you feel. (85 gsl)

Well it depends. What are your goals suspension wise? Do you want a "streetable" ride? Or are you one who wants an all out racecar, banzai, backbreaker ride? Do you plan to race the car at all?

haha, yea i guess that info. would help. sorry. I'm looking for a daily driver who can hold it's own on an SCCA course every now and then.....is that too much to ask? It doesn't have to be the best SCCA setup, just better than stock.

Stock brakes are fine, just get some good quality pads. I use Hawk HP+'s on my AutoX car, but they may be a bit extreme on a daily driver. Might try some HPS' or Portefield's.

I have RB springs and Koni struts, which I'm happy with. The ride isn't too bad, and the car handles well enough. Will probably go with GC coil-overs on the next car though. New bushings also make a nice improvement.

My advice would be to AutoX the car a few times and figure out what you think needs improvement.
