on monday sent 2 nikki carbs to sterling to get my full modded carb with my check and then UPS calls me and says they lost my package and they want to give me a 100 bucks for them so now I have to send another and wait still cant drive my truck and I am out 2 good carbs aint life a bitch

 

tell them its going to cost alot more than that to replace them, you can argue with them and get more money come in with pictures are prices and locations of the preices

So $150 plus what you paid for shipping.. Accept no less.

Hell, give 'em ****, and try to get enough to buy one carb and get it Ub3r rebuilt by Sterling. Get like $200 from them and a coupon for free shipping of the price your shipping was.

EVEN BETTER IDEA: Go to Mazda, get a price quote on two carbs. Bring it to UPS and charge them THAT. Bingo, no prob. They don't have to know that you can pick up used ones for much less, just tell them that since they lost you the carburetors, you need stock replacements. Mazda will ask you to cough up an arm and a leg. Rip that arm and leg off a UPS guy, and feed it to Sterling... who will rebuild some junker carb you find. Any leftover fundage can go towards DLIDFIS or an e-fan or something.

welp... its UPS.. so if you did not get insurance they will only give you up to $100. any thing after 100 you have to pay insurance for.

now i assume that you only sent one package with the 2 carbs in there. since its only one package you will only get $100, if you sent 2 packages then... welp.. its $200 ya dig.

sucks but the truth is you will prolly only see $100 from UPS.

well maybe they will find your package. some time they find them and you will get them back in a few months.

that sucks tho.. maybe some one on the board has an extra one they can sell you for cheap.
