heh, i was waiting for somebody to say something about the rim... now for those of you who don't know... this is one area where the FC's have us beat big time. That is the STOCK! fc spare tire. the one i got when i got the fb was all rotted out (there was water in the bin) so i figured i'd grab the one from my FC which i crashed a while ago. pretty sweet, isn't it?

(I have another one that will soon be on my wall as decoration)

Gezz, caulk galore. What are you using, just standard white silicone bathroom caulk?

yep, just your standard caulk. One reason I used so much of the stuff is because I was using a jigsaw to cut the entire thing, and I didn't make the most straight cuts in the world, so there was quite a bit of a gap in a lot of places... :-/ anyway, in new news...

I WON A ROCKFORD FOSGATE AMP!!!! off of e-bay, so no crappy sony amp for me (too bad i'll probably blow out the subs...)

Did you caulk the intrernal portions off the boxes? If you didn't, go back and do so....also, please don't use home carpeting for the final layering. Do you have reams of auto carpet to match your rexy interior? If not, you might think about hitting up a Hancock Fabric store and getting some vinyl to match the vinyl already in your car...

I know that directfreak. I plan in the future to convert to a GSL-SE suspension, since mine is close to on its way out. Most bushings are pretty cracked, and the drivers side springs are sagging a little.

and the saga continues...

I've been VERY sick for the past week or so ::read flu + sinus infection:: but my amp came in today so I was ambitious. I have finished the basic construction of my sub box, and of course, here are some pix.

(tripod sucks so that's why the third one is messed up) I got those grille's from www.allelectronics.com for like $3.00 each I'll be headed to the auto store in the next few days once I catch up on some work, and feel a bit better, I'll get the carpet for both the box and my hatch! (black, of course )
