Sub Zero starting assist system

Can anyone tell me how to remove the reservoir on a 1980? I have felt around and can't figure out how to remove it and don't want to break it.
Thanks

It pulls straight forward. It has an interference fit between the bottle and the bracket on the bottom. It is da** snug (especially if it got rusty), so you have to work it forward from side to side keeping it mostly square to the firewall.

A bit of band-aid engineering if I ever saw it. Can't wait to get rid of mine.

It's funny; for the 0.01% of RX-7 owners who actually needed it, an exponentially larger number were probably hosed by their rotary flooding after a cold shutoff. Point is I think Mazda's engineering expertise could have been better applied to solve problems that affected a larger percentage of its cars' owners...
